MRIs will detect all kinds of issues with the brain or other bodily organs.  Bloodwork detects all kinds of issues as well.  If you been EKG'd, then I'm thinking the ole ticker is probably ticking just fine.  :winking0008:

Health anxiety and anxiety, in general, makes thinking all bassackward and fouled up.  It makes us fixate on all kinds of what ifs.  Well we all know that the 'what ifs' are always going to be out there.  But if we can only think about them and live in fear, then life is going to be mighty frightening.

There are ways to get better--therapy, maybe meds (depending on the individual), hobbies, exercise, self-help books, forums.....  Anything that can break the cycle of faulty thinking and the 'what if' game is going to be helpful.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.

and those two things can make you feel just the way you are feeling.

So now that you know you have GAD and some depression, how are you going address these?  What's the plan?  You gotta have a plan to move forward.
