huge fear of...

clowns.
sharks.
the ocean.
dying.

i'm the biggest hypercondriac.
everyday i worry about my health.
worrying if i have heart disease, diabetes, brain tumours etc...

anyone have any information that can help me get over all this?

are you in CBT?

cognitive behavior therapy tends to expose you to your fears gradually until it no longer causes fear.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.

That and exposure to your fears. I used to be afraid of sudden load noises like fireworks. I got over it by target shooting and soon the fear disappeared. I am still afraid of electricity only because I have been shocked more times than I wish to remember. I dont think I want to get over that fear lol.
