suddenly sore legs just now

I got home from getting dinner (friday night pizza yay) and put in a movie.  I laid down and then my legs just started to feel like they've just run a marathon.  My thighs and knees ache so bad it's crazy.  It can even be in my shins and calves.  I'm so worried about blood clots and MS and the like and whenever I get these pains in my legs I really start to freak out.  But this is the first time I've felt a soreness or pain in my thighs, or knees, and now my feet too, it was always in my calf muscles or shins.  Please someone help me understand what may be going on!  I try to live so healthy but I always feel such the opposite.  The sooner the better because I'm rather worried this time.  Thank you...

actually i had a doctor sppt yesterday and brought this very similar scenario up to him. he told me that it could have been a number of things that could trigger it. Maybe I stepped the wrong way. He suggested that I practice stretching exercises.
