Dear Members:

The old chat room software has been completely removed and the latest version installed. This new version is major step up from the previous version and has undergone some pretty extensive testing to make sure it would function properly and operate smoothly but like anything else, nothing is 100% perfect.

Please post any issues regarding the new chat room in this thread or send me a private message so I can look into it.

Our chat rooms use Flash. Flash has it's own cache. If you experience any weird problems or any problems at all, you should clear your Flash cache. This is done by going to Macromedia's website and using their online tool. Scroll down until you see "www.anxietyzone.com" and then click on the "Delete Website" button. Once your finished, return here and log back into the chat room. Here's the URL...

You may also want to clear your browser's cache.

The new chat room software has been reinstalled but is no longer integrated with the forum (this was causing a number of conflicts and glitches). The annoying messages are now fixed too .

To use the new chat rooms, you will need to register for a separate chat room account. You can do this by clicking on the "register" link in the News Box (located in the very upper-right corner of the forum).

Hey GG, just a quick thing I noticed- every once in a while, all the text from the chat room will disappear on me. It seems to happen with some frequency, and obviously it messes up the conversations. For whatever reason, it seems to happen in streaks, so once all the text is gone, i'll type something out and that will disappear in a second too.

Also, this might just be a personal preference, but I'm not sure if the default background and font should be blue/white. A lot of people will end up changing to a silver or white background just because it's more aesthetically pleasing, and then not be able to see the newcomers whose fonts are defaulting to white.

Anyway, my two cents...everyone's a complainer! Thanks for the hard work I'm sure it took to install this.
