I have SA, and I just realized when I smile and try to hold (which I dont do a whole lot, smiling or holding it) my face seems to twich near my mouth, I dont know why it does that either, I find it hard to believe it could be fromm not smiling enough, I used to get twiches a little here and there but just tried to ignore it, since I didnt like it. I have thought the same thing at times... I dont know what it could be maybe from stress or Anexty I would think are the most likely anwsers, a doctor may be able to tell you, go to one if you think it will help or are really that worried, but it might (dont know for sure) be hard to find out as it is not easy to find out whats wrong with someone based on one symptom, doctors are bascially guessing when they do an examination, the more info they have the better. But it may be something more serious, its really up to you to decide on if you think it is serious or not
Basically doctors work like this they come up with conditions that match you symptoms and try to decide which is most likely the thing that is wrong with you, they do tests and gather info, which many add to there list of conditions of take away from them, they may find more info later and change there mind...its really just guesswork with lots of information, tests(which can be from issuing meds to bloods tests) and experience, but a good doctor is always subjective and willing to try to help you.
but I would not worry about it to much unless it gets really bad. Just try to relax, since stress and anxiety go hand and hand, and its probably from stress. Plus alot of doctors may say the same thing, unless you ask them to do tests (or they may want to), it all depends, theres not way to know for sure, sorry i cant give you a better anwser. Personally I dont care about it happening to me myself a whole lot, but its in my nature to ignore things....which in my case is probably a bad thing.....thinking back on other things now.....but you may be different....wow i said way to much
