schizophrenia anyone?
« on: November 19, 2009, 04:45:56 PM »
i searched and couldnt find anything similar to this...

i was diagnosed a while ago with a very mild form of schizophrenia, and the way that i deal with it i believe to be muuuuch different than most people. the "voices" i heard were all my own. just with kind of off-the-wall comments. well me being me, the son of a stand up comedian, i morphed these voices into things that i think are funny. will ferrell's characters in pretty much anything just as an example. and now theyre on the loose inside my head, chiming in on conversations. and when i decide to channel what they say its usually more funny than frightening and off putting. i have minor hallucinations.... but none seem to be very dangerous. anyway, im just kinda curious to see if anyone has anything to say? is it a bad thing, good thing, maybe it helps someone etc. just putting it out there
