strange new fear- does anyone have this?

This is weird, but lately I am scared every time I, to put it delicately, go to the bathroom. I am afraid it will somehow strain my heart (which I have been told is perfectly healthy) and kill me. I have no idea where this came from. Does anyone else get freaked out by this?

No, but I'm afraid it'll give me a hernia or pop something in my GT.

Yeah, if im constipated and i have to ' push hard ' sorry to get graphic lol, but i do worry it will give me an aneurysm so i have this crazy obsessive thing where i can only push for a maximum of 3 seconds, before resting and trying again lol, it looks even crazier now i put it down in writing

...and sometimes I'm also terrified to sneeze, laugh or cough for the same reason.

These feelings sometimes have sources like stress or depression in your life, that expresses itself in these manners.

Maybe it would be good to see a therapist.

My GI physician said it is not good to strain while trying to have a bowel movement
as it can create or add to hemorrhoid issues. He said to just take your time and if nothing
occurs, just get up and try later. Fiber may also help.
