fear of driving cause of symptoms

yea i stay lightheaded alot to sometimes driving can make  it worse

I use to get attacks during driving around the first of the year right after I purchased my new car. It was awful. Thought I was going to have to pull over a few times. Plus having passengers makes my anxiety that much more! Breathing slowly and calming myself is really all I could do. I did begin to fear driving for a little while. Slowly I overcame that problem. Sometimes I get them going to work or leaving if I have been drinking coffee or sodas. The stimulant caffeine can make me sensitive to my adrenaline, while behind the wheel. Having a sports car really gets my adrenaline pumping. Hence the attacks. So if i calm myself before I drive then im ok. Being able to overcome my anxiety in my car has helped me in the long run while even at home or work. It takes time hang in there. You'll be back on the road like normal.

thank you so much and i hope so ive got a brand new car and ive only drove it a couple of time i use to beable to drive when i got upset and it would help me but now i have this fear of driving cause of the feeling i have thank you guys for responding to me and helping me
