side effects of Paxil from only one dose?

I was prescribed  Paxil last week for anxiety and took one 20mg dose on Friday. After that, I was thinking and decided that I didn't want to be on medication, so I haven't taken it since that one dose. Since then, I have been feeling even more anxious than before. I don't feel like myself, I feel very restless and shaky, a different kind of anxiety than I felt before.

My question is: does anyone know if Paxil can cause these side effects after only one dose?

I have been trying to reach the worthless clinic that prescribed me the meds, but haven't been able to reach anyone. Appreciate any answers anyone has.

i took one 10 mg and had the worst anxiety attacks ever, i was sick for 2 days

Everyone is different, so it could be affecting you, but I think it's pretty unlikely...

The night of my first dose of citalopram 20mg, I was up pretty much half the night with anxiety.  I personally think that panic symptoms that happen early like that are just anxiety about A. taking a new medication and thinking about side effects and B. anxiety from wondering if it is going to work

After about 6-7 days, I started to feel better...and felt better consistently every day after that.
