Hello,I made some change in my life {I don't drink alcohol no more,I stopped smoking}but I still feel bad!
Lol.. you did the same things I did when I got anxiety.
I later found out that these things the whole time were used as crutches to help us cope with our anxiety.
If you are light headed, dizzy, spacy and at 'high alert' mode right now, you probably have agoraphobia. Try going in a crowded mall for hour and it might develop. When you strat feeling dizzy then leave! That will be agoraphobia.
If you are at this stage, then it's time to see a Dr. and get some medication.
Basically your constant 'worrying' is causing your anxiety. What you are worrying about is the anxiety symtoms themself so it's feeding off itself. Your subconcious mind controls this, NOT your active mind. If you get agoraphobia you'll know the power of the subconsions minds control over your body.
If you have a panic attack in a Pizza Hut, your subconsious mind will not like the Pizza Hut. Wait a week later. Have a freind load the Pizza hut website and you watch yourself have a mild panic attack despite you being in your own home.
That's the power of the subconsious controlling your anxiety and panic attacks.
Many people on the forums don't get agoraphobia and their anxiety doesn't intefere that much with their life. Maybe they don't need meds.
But when you are 'up there', you need to relax, stop worrying, and let your subconsious mind settle back down. This will take a long while and will involve SSRI's. Citalopram is what I recommend as it's cured my anxiety agoraphobia. I take 5mg before bed.
Speaking of that, it's bed time now. Time to take my 5mg and go to sleep :)
Tommorows going to be a great day.
