pre-holiday anxiety
« on: November 10, 2005, 01:01:08 PM »
holidays are approaching and i'm curious as to what any of you guys do to get through it. I'm newly divorced so I feel like its much harder for me this year as my family dynamics have changed and I will be by myself a lot this holiday season.

Help!  I'm anxious about this!   :(

I don't relate to this problem.  :-* My suggestion is to take control of your situation. If you are in the position to do so, contact an organization and volunteer to help feed the hungry, visit people in the hospital or nursing home....you might be nervous at first, but because you will be taking the initiative, it will give you a sense of direction. And you won't feel so lonely.

Don't know if I explained that right.
