Zoloft Side Effects
« on: August 12, 2009, 10:11:46 AM »
I started 25 mg of Zoloft on Friday night at bedtime for my health anxiety. I have also been taking a 1/2 of a xanax also. Saturday when I woke up I felt like a complete zombie and felt like I was internally shaking. Sunday I woke up same thing. Now the internally shaking thing is only happening in the morning and then by the afternoon I can actually feel okay. How long will this last?

 :wavey: anxietyhell,

I am also on 25 mg of zoloft. This is my 3rd week. Dont worry about the side effects. They will subside. But it takes a few weeks and it goes away gradually usually.

I also had the shaky feeling one time and had a real bad anxiety attack last week. Still not out of the woods but I can cope with it. If 25 mg is not enough I'll eventually try 50 mg but I want to at least take a month before deciding to get up the dosage as I am very med sensitive.

So, dont worry about your side effects. They are normal with the zoloft. and it wont last. Promess!  :sad0126:

My story.....Well, it's been a little over three weeks and my body has now adjusted to the Zoloft. I am glad I stayed on it.  I will admit the first 2 or 3 weeks I did have some mild side effects, such as night sweats, headaches, teething grinding/clenching and insomnia. I USED MY XANAX DURING THIS TIME TO HELP ME ADJUST (.25mg mostly at night but some during the day).
