« on: July 22, 2009, 12:40:59 PM »
Last night was strange because after a long day of work I came home and got tired all of a sudden but then felt like a sadness or a feeling that I could cry my head off. It freaked me out badly  B-; Anyone else here get this?

Hm, every now and then, I get a sadness/depression in place of fear.  I'm so used to getting anxious, it really throws me when instead I'm overcome with self-pity and loneliness.  I don't know if that's what you mean, but by all means, sometimes I feel like bawling, and it feels like a reaction to my anxiety.

YES - I've totally had that.  I just joined this site and you can read my story above in this forum "Panicky newbie here"  Anyway, what you described happend to me as I was starting to get my first panic attacks.  I felt all hazy after sleeping, then my brain start sending all kinds of useless panicky nerve signals and the whole physical episode of anxiety "freaked me out" and caused an emotional reaction which was the extreme sadness.  I was super-sad and there wasn't anything anyone could do about it.  But, I worked through that episode and I'm still working through the overall anxiety problems that I have.  I think this stuff can happen to anyone that goes through a lot of crap in their life - but you can work through it.  How are you coping now?
