Are you certain that it is your esophagus spasming and not the surrounding muscles? I get neck spasms and twitches sometimes and I first attributed it to something going on in my arteries. Esophageal spasms themselves are not uncommon, though, and I don't believe they are serious unless they become a chronic issue. Anxiety can cause all kinds of body spasms and is especially affective towards our digestive stuff, so I would not rule out it being attributed to anxiety.

I am not sure if that's what is is..the best way i can describe it is...the soft spot right between your collar bones, well i get this fluttering that happens and it is really intense for a second or two.

This actually sounds like it could be a heart palpitation, such as a premature ventricular contraction (PVC). I suggest that using the search function and searching for "pvc" or "palpitation," if you are interested in it. It's VERY common amongst anxiety sufferers and probably makes up at least a thousand of the posts here!

Esophageal spasm symptoms typically are chest pain, sometimes severe,
food getting stuck in your throat, food coming back up, heartburn and
difficulty swallowing. A friend of mine has to every three to five years get
some type of procedure where his esophagus needs to be opened up as his
closed a bit and he has difficulty swallowing. Your symptoms do not seem
indicative of esophageal spasm.
