It's very hard to tell which one it could have been; I would say maybe a combination of the two.  How warm was it outside and am I correct when I say you were outside for half an hour?  I find that heat affects my anxiety and can throw me into panic attacks.  I get the same feelings you describe when I have panic attacks, but the faintness also sounds like it could have been the heat.  About your last comment about the timing of the panic attack; mine appear out of nowhere as well.  It's really odd; when I am stressed sometimes I can handle it and then when I am relaxing later I'll have one.  Mine can even happen when I am having a good day with minimal stress.  I would not go to the hospital if it was me but that is your personal choice.
It was 108 here in southern CALIFORNIA that day.And I need to see doctor because I havent had a cheak up in a long time.   Thank you for your thoughts on what happend,I think the heat just brought on a panic attack, who knows though,it was a pretty bad attack though. It was kind of funny though because I was just out there paintin along when all of a sudden I thought to myself "I don't think I feel to good"It was like it came up and hit me :laugh3:

Hawk  10 freakin' 8   ;*)  Well good grief, it all makes sense now!!!  I would definitely say that 1/2hr in that heat could bring on the beginnings of heat exhaustion/stroke and then send you into a panic attack.  That is completely understandable.

I'm glad you went into the house when you did

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.
