Lorazepam/Ativan

Does lorazepam "build" in the system like SSRI type meds do?  I know it can be habit-forming after a while, but I am wondering what it will do to me if I stop it totally...  I was thinking of going back to this other medicine that is for anxiety and similar to benodryl (sp?), but with more to it.  I wonder if I stopped the lorazepam and immediately started this other, if it has any kinhd of weird interactions.  I guess I could just ask a pharmacist...

The way some people talk on this site, I am thinking I will need to keep taking one or the other when I start an SSRI...  Because those supposedly can cause panic attacks.

Oh and also does anyone taking this notice headaches?  Apparently this was what agve me headaches every day lately.  Or maybe it was because I am not sleeping well.  I always seem to feel fine when I go to sleep, but then I toss and turn and think negative thoughts all during my sleep.
