The other day I noticed a tingling in my left thigh that actually caused gossebumps. It would last a second or two and then go away and it would come every few minutes.

Well since then I now feel tingling/twinges all over my body, I mean my arms, legs, cheeks, feet, head, etc.

There is no pain and I have no other symptoms. I have had pretty bad anxiety this week but this is throwing me over the edge.

I stopped looking at signs of MS and ALS but I just feel like there HAS to be something majorly wrong with me.

Any words of advice would be so greatly appreciated

I've had tingling/buzzing feelings in both my legs for three months now. Like you, i have no pain either but my anxiety has taken a toll over me for three months and I suffer from other symptoms as well.

Just type in tingling/buzzing in the search box and see how many other members suffer from the same thing. It's a common anxiety symptom.

Hoi, Jteach, STOP PANICKING!

Listen girl, if you go into a flat spin panic about this it will get worse. If you try to live through it, chances ar it will even itself out.

I'm busy trying to talk myself down out of the 'I've got MS' tree, right now. As I sit here tryping to you I have a sodding twitchy little finger caused by overused muscles in my right arm twitching like mad(I'm a medieval re-enactor and had a major battle weekend this past weekend, then today after work I was working on my allotment...), random mobile pins'n'needles ( left leg currently) an absolute convincement that my plantar reflex would be positive if I could just do it right (I made the sole of my foot bleed today). And my doctor is quite unconcerned about my symptoms. So I'm well qualified in being a total hypocrite and shouting 'STOP WORRYING!!!' at you.

Now if you can just shout it back at me... ::)  We will be OK. We will beat this beastie!

Thanks for the comments guys.

I am trying so hard and I get so mad at myself that I cannot control it. It is beginning to affect my relationship with my husband. He just referenced the story "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" thanks hunny, thats really what I need right now

I do believe that I will overcome this its just not gonna happen today hahahaha

I am also thankful that I am having a full physical on Wednesday that will hopefully alleviate some of my worry.

Has anyone ever read up on vitamin b deficiency? I think this is something I want my dr to test for, so many common symptoms

Oh and Whiskas, STOP PANICKING lol

Bottom line........twitching is the most common anxiety symptom.....as soon as you start to worry....the twitching gets even worse. Tingling too. I gave up worrying about tingling and twitching years ago...they still happen and I just ignore it. Funny, when I started doing that, they decreased significantly. The more hyper aware you are of physical symptoms, the worse they will get. Your'e just fine hun!

Vitamin D definciency, my GP has been preaching it for a couple years now. 1000iu for every 25lbs of bodyweight, increases saratonin levels, greatly decreases risk for cancer, regulates electrical signals within heart, on and on and on. Said within a month of taking around 10000ius a day he could truly feel a difference in overall mood, and says he really believes his immune system is much stronger

www.vitaminDcouncil.com, obviously not soliciting a product or anything, if he would have been pushing a brand name pharma I would let it go in one and out the other, but its simply D.

Very common symptom of anxiety. My daughter who is 18, had a very big exam at
college and got stressed out and her eye began to twitch and hurt. Once the
exam was over, it stopped; this was a prime example of anxiety in action.
