Blood Pressure and Anxiety
« on: June 21, 2009, 12:28:45 PM »
I was doing well with my blood pressure.  Last month I had a situation related to a possible job that first raised it 30 points and a few days later, it raised another 30 points.  I did go on medication and the doctor recently took me off it and the situation worked out the way I wanted.  Blood pressure is largely anxiety with me as the physical exam checked out well.

He told me there will be a rebound effect where after the drug my numbers will go higher and that is happening now.  I really have a hard time handling drugs but will admit they certainly have a purpose.  Does anyone have any advice on how not to overthink things and perhaps on natural remedies.  Everything gets resolved and is never worth any worrying.

Thank you.
