Twilight
« on: June 15, 2009, 02:00:05 AM »
I'm watching Twilight right now for like the bazillionth time lol!! I LOVE the books.. I love the movie. It's sooo romantic, and it's such an amazing distraction from my anxiety. I've been kinda moody lately, so ive stalled a bit on my reading, but when i was reading, I loved to just sit in my room and cry. I used to just imagine Edward and Bella together. I think everyone wants to have a love like that. I could go on and on about this, but im not quite sure what to say lol

It's sooo funny. I swear i could cry every single time.. even hearing that Paramore song "Decode" does the same thing to me. Looking at a pic of Bella and Edward could do the same thing. At least it's a good emotion and not the crazy anxiety that i can get lol

I'm in such a great mood right now!!

I definately know what you mean! Twilight is a great distraction. I was going through a really rough time a couple of months ago and reading the books (and fanfiction!), watching videos, listening to the soundtrack, and watching the movie really helped me. I'm so excited for New Moon, mainly because of Jacob and the rest of the Quileute pack. =]

Did you hear about the last book? I guess it's supposed to be Edwards point of view. I'm excited about it, if it's true haha

The shinny vampire in the forest, i find it very very funny, because why would a vampire shine and glow? well, i prefer the book over the movie personally.

I have avoided Twilight...I have a rebellious streak against the fad wagon. Then my husband had ACL surgery and was in bed for 4 weeks. We watched movies all day everyday; one day his mom brought us the Twilight movie.

Edward is soooooooooooo HOT:happy0005:   Robert Pattinson is def my new celeb crush lol

Now I'm hooked and I'm really REALLY wanting to read the books.

I'm not sure I can pick out a fav scene in the movie, I liked the whole thing.

If you guys loved twilight, and the rest of the saga, i definitely recommend you to read MARKED by P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast. It's about Vampires as well, a little more edgy with a lot of drama, but it's really good:) If you guys need any good book recommendations, let me know. I read quite a bit. lol.
As for the movie TWILIGHT...i was excited for it, but i've watched it ONCE...didn't like it at all. I could probably write out a list of 500 things that were wrong with it, but that just might be the OCD part of me taking over...lmao.

I was the same way with the most recent Harry Potter movie; I left the theater upset that they left SO MUCH out of the movie that was so important to the book and the final book.

Too funny! I loved the movie..it's great!! My new favorite. After I watched it I went out and purchased all of the books..I was sad when I finished the last one.
Can't wait for new moon to come out.

I started watching Vampire Diaries..anyone else watch that? It's not a movie/not as good as Twilight..but it's an entertaining show...and the main character isn't nearly as perfect was Edward Cullen. :-)

It's called Midnight Sun. It's on Stephanie Meyer's website. It's not finished and she has the whole story about it on there. I wish she would finish it. The little bit that she wrote was awesome. I liked it better.

I've seen it a few times. I like the fact that the girl from Degrassi is on it.. that makes things more exciting for me. She's so gorgeous. I no longer have TV though, so I may have to catch up online if I have time.

New Moon was amazing!! I am so hooked on the movies. I have tons of hoodies, jewelry etc. I even got a blanket for my bed haha. I feel like a nerd :p

I'm so excited for Eclipse!!!

I haven't started it yet because I'm still working on Breaking Dawn (which is sad because it's been over a year now and I've slacked on reading it lol), but I'll read it next

I recently saw Eclipse and it totally gagged me.  I've never read the books or seen any of the other movies.  But Eclipse just bored me with all the romantic gush and sapp -- and the story was lame too.  Yeck!

Eclipse was my favorite movie out of all of them. I think there was more action and the characters are now situated and it just made more sense. Not that I don't like the first two, but they were just kinda boring if you aren't into the books.

I saw the midnight showing and OMG was it PACKED!!!! There were 13 theatres full!! The line was insane
