Emetophobia - what works?
« on: June 01, 2009, 09:34:10 AM »
Hi, I was wondering what treatments/therapies/thought processes have been of help to others on these forums who suffer from emetophobia. Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

I also suffer from emetaphobia.  It is just plain awful.  I hate this phobia it has pretty much taken over my life.  It is all I think about.  Try searching for someone who specializes in anxiety disorders and get treatment.  If you wait the fear will grow and grow until it is too much to handle.  The most effective way to get relief from anxiety is exposures, which is exposing yourself to what you fear.  It is not fun but it works.
