Weird reaction to alcohol on SSRI's?

One "elephant in the room"--drinking makes sufferers of PD/GAD feel much, much better ***for a time. Each time I've mixed SSRIs and drinking I get drunk quickly and effectively--then feel depressed and shaky for three days after. I could die without another drink--and (more) happily.
