When did your IBS start?

Growing up my stomach was always sensitive, but when I started going from one SSRI's is when my full blown IBS started. Basically when I started Effexor. Has this happened to anyone else?

No, I've always had problems with my stomach but the ibs has become much worse in the last year. The more stressed I am, the worse it gets. The pain is excruciating and I'm quite limited socially because of it. It was also the main reason I lost my job. Hope it's not the ssri's that are making it worse for you cos I was hoping to see if taking them would help me. Nothing else has yet.
