Mood Stabalizers?
« on: September 27, 2006, 10:44:50 AM »
For those of you on mood stabalizers...Do they make you a zombie? Are you too mellow? Can you get excited or sexual with them?

I'm thinking of asking the doc for them Maybe.

I had some success with Neurontin and Topamax. Both are used for bi-polar disorders also.  For the first week or so, I was fatigued, but that subsided. Did even out the mood swings, but didn't make me overly passive.

Check on-line for any side effects you may be concerned about. Depends on what else you're taking.

Good Luck and let me know how you made out. Kim
