Big Mac vs. Whopper...
« on: May 13, 2009, 11:26:26 PM »
I like Pan's topic on Ramen noodles and Oldie's whole mung bean fixation...lol. So let's see where we can go with food!

I like to think of myself as an overall healthy kinda guy. I go to the gym 5 days a week, eat pretty good, play squash, run, swim, however my weakness is fast food. I take good care of myself physically anyhow...

What would the perfect fast food combination be??

A & W Root Beer
McDonalds Fries
Dairy Queen Big Ultimate Burger
Burger King Poutine

...ah what the hell, chuck in some A & W onion rings too. Might as well make it 4000 calories.

Oh crap, get some KFC in their too. I'll have a Big Crunch Chicken Burger and a couple of extra crispy breasts (yes chicken breasts!)

This must include an In-n-Out Double/Double (and if you're watching carbs, make it protein style) with some of their tasty fries.....yummmm

Lol... Sounds good El-K.

Oldie, a poutine is fries, chunks of curd cheese, and a good slathering of gravy on top!!! It's one gooey bowl of heart attack.

I was always a QP with cheese girl, myself, but in the last couple of years they've made me feel awful.  Oh they are delish going down, but they never wanted to leave afterward. :sick0002:  I haven't had a QP w/cheese in 1 1/2yrs.  I still snitch a few of my kids fries though.

the poutine thing----sounds scarily like fried cheese curds you get in Wisconsin.  OMG those are quite a nasty treat too.  I'm not a WIer but my hubby's fam live there.  Tried them once and not going to again.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.

Actually, this poutine thing sounds like it might taste pretty good. I used to love fries with gravy. (not too sure about the cheese curds, though). But now that my waist line is expanding faster than the national debt, I try to avoid fast food. I do have an occasional sub at Subway, which I suppose isn't too bad.
I believe I will have a heaping bowl of mung beans, with a ramen noodle appetizer.   Bon Appetit!

Ohhh man, I love fast food. I got my driver's licence a few months ago and it seems like I've been eating out a lot more than I ever did before, lol. In my town all we really have is McDonald's, Subway, Mexican, Chinese, and Pizza Hut, so my favorite is McDonald's. I love their 10-piece chicken McNugget meal with hot mustard sauce. That sauce is the BEST. I can eat it by itself. I love McFlurries too. I'm doing Weight Watchers right now, so fast food is pretty much out of the question, but I'm going to take a break from it today and have some good greasy food. =]

Poutine sounds... interesting. Lol. I like fries, and I like gravy (biscuit and gravy is one of my favorite foods, I'm a Southern girl), and I like cheese... but I don't know if I'd like them together. I'd like to try it though! =]
