Depersonalization.  It seems to trigger all the other nasties that follow...  :(

Mine is kind of weird, it's kind of like depersonalization but i feel like im watching myself in a movie and everything around me is happening in fast motion while I'm in slow motion. That makes all the other symptoms worse. I also hate when my heart starts pounding, it used to freak me out but now it's just annoying especially when im trying to sleep

Chest pains and palpitations are definitely very annoying. I also tear up sometime. My eyes will just start watering when I'm anxious, and people think I;m crying. But the worst is "brain fog." Sometimes I'll feel very mentally impaired by anxiety, not being able to remember certain words, slurring speech in conversation, basically my mind goes completely blank and I can't perform even simple tasks, I become frozen up. Anyone else know what I'm talkin bout?

The constant thinking about my breathing is probly the most annoying
This constant feeling like my eyes arent focusing right, or like im almost dizzy but not really.

I used to have depersonalization, so i know how it feels. Its not that. Its something about my eyes

For me: DEPERSONALIZATION.
This is my most difficult and annoying symptom. This is the most bothersome and I hope to find a cure for this symptom! I will be really relieved.

Definitely Depersonalization then the the "floating feeling" which made me feel like passing out.

nausea is the worst for me. I have no problem dealing with the dizziness and other symptoms I get, but I can't handle the nausea. Since my biggest fear which is the cause of my anxiety is vomiting, and the fact that nausea is the anxiety I feel, it's horrible for me. Just horrible.

Its not really a symptom...its more or less the simple fact that anxiety will mimic serious problems.... It drives me nuts! I'm a big heart worrier who is now obsessed with the theory that I have coronal artery disease even though I have had ekg's, heart monitors on for several hours, blood work...a lot...and it came out clean. I'm now wanting something that could be risky...an angiogram. I most likely won't do it bc its all anxiety but the fact that anxiety mocks your biggest fears is my largest pet peeve...it leaves u batty!

I agree. The worst is wondering whether one day I WILL have a heart attack and die..because I say, "It's just anxiety."

If its a physical symptom I get it, the worst are muscle tension, because I'm always soooo sore even when I'm not anxious, so its the one I cant get away from, but other than that chest pain, and rapid heart beat or palpitations are the most alarming for me, i hate it when you have so much adrenaline in you it feels like your heart is fluttering or beating weird, because honestly that crap prolongs my panic. I always tell myself I wish I didnt get any heart related symptoms (chest pain and fast beat) because heart attacks are oddly what scare the hell outta me (im 22 years old.... go figure...) but Im sure even if i didnt get them I'd find something else to worry about.

Nausea, dizziness. Also trembling. During panic attacks the screaming and hyperventilating bothers me, but I don't have them very often anymore.

does anyone cry after an attack.  Every attack i have, i cry after.  I feel so low.  I think its because i cant control or fix the attacks.  The crying really sucks and when im in public, it can lead to another attack.  :(

I am glad I read a few of these because I had been doing so well with anxiety, and especially panic attacks. I hadn't had any panic attacks in about a year, and I was so happy with that. I have had some anxiety off and on but nothing that I could not handle. Well, over the past 2 weeks I have noticed more anxiety, which has led up to panic attacks :(. I am not sure why this is happening and I feel like I am going backward instead of forward, and my life was going so well. I feel like I do well for awhile and then I am hit with this again and it is very depressing.
I would say I have lots of "annoying anxiety symptoms". Here are a few that I will post:
-back pain, nausea, rapid heartbeat (which has not happened in so long, and now it is happening almost everyday!), shortness of breath, dizziness, chest tightness or feeling that I am not breathing correctly/getting enough oxygen, headache, tension in shoulders and neck, fatigue, feeling spacey.

This happens to me as well. I often feel 'shaken' and on the verge of crying for hours after an attack as well.

Yes, I do cry a lot when this is going on. I cry after an attack lots of times also. It causes a lot of emotional changes for sure.

What are your most annoying anxiety symptoms?

I thought we could all talk about this, 1 so we can get it out of system - no matter how embarrassing it is, and 2 so we can relate to eachother and know that a lot of our symptoms are really common!

For me: DEPERSONALIZATION.
This is my most difficult and annoying symptom. This is the most bothersome and I hope to find a cure for this symptom! I will be really relieved.

I think it has produced other symptoms like headaches, dizziness, and confusion.

~Des (FaithInGod)

This one hits the head on the nail

Others for me: I can no longer surf (agoraphobia/thallasophoia); haunting/intrusive thoughts; bouts with addiction (from too much of the benzo, diet soda, cigarettes...at one time, booze); envy of the non-anxious; how it affects my wife; excitement then depression; trouble sleeping/trouble waking
