In chat last night we were talking about all the little things that might make us anxious.  I thought that it might be a good tool to have a post here where we can all add the things we've learned over the years to keep those "little" things from becoming the first step to a bad day.

So, if you've got a tip for removing gum from pet hair or deicing a car door or anything to help out with the assorted "oh no what do I do?" moment, post them here!!

**********GETTING NAIL POLISH OUT OF CARPET*************

Barbasol shaving cream.  Put an ample amount of shaving cream over the area, let sit for a minute, then scrub scrub and scrub some more with your finger tips.  Dry area with a paper towel.  If the nail polish still shows, repeat these steps.

*I do not know why this works, but I assure you it does.  I accidentally spilled almost an entire bottle of my daughters bright BLUE nail polish on my light tan carpet.  I thought for sure it was just ruined.  I used this trick and you can't even tell it was ever there.*

********MR. CLEAN MAGIC ERASER********

As a mother of two children and two furry children, I swear by these things.  Don't freak out about anything until you use the Magic Eraser first.

My daughter drew all over my wall with inkpen and the magic eraser took it right off.

Collectors items such a Precious Moments or Cherished Teddies....Magic Eraser takes off the dust without removing any of the paint.

It's great for the white trim around doors where fingerprints always wind up, and it's perfect for those greasy stains around the fridge and stove.

Check for coupons, every once in awhile they'll run one for 2.00 off a box.

to wash grill pans and frying use biological washing powder ( laundry powder) and boiling hot water leave for 15 mins then wash off.
if your hoover is failing to pick up pet hairs from carpets or rugs, put laundry detergent and hot water  in a mop bucket, wring the mop out well so there is hardly any moisture on it and mop the carpet.the steam looses the dirt and pet hair and leaves your carpets smelling lovley and pet hair free.
