Lexapro for OCD (thoughts) and anxiety?

HI again....

Since I have gotten down to this low dose of Paxil (around 8mgs) I have OCD like never before in my life. My issues have always been anxiety (social, agoraphobia, PTSD, etc) and I might have had some mild OCD, but holy smokes...I am a mess. The intrusive thoughts and reptitive thoughts are taking up my life and I am suffering greatly.

I am working up the courage to switch from Paxil to Lexapro but I was wondering how many of you found Lexapro helpful with this?
I do not have compulsions (like hand washing or anything) but just worry and obsess about crazy stuff...

I was thinking maybe Zoloft might be better for OCD? But not for my anxiety?

Anyone with experience with this, please chime in.

Try fluoxetine.
