Can't help feeling that its a shame...
« on: July 06, 2005, 04:20:03 PM »
People visit this forum, they read hello messages.... and don't say hello..... don't reply at all.... wonder why? Personally I'm fine, but I know there are others here who feel alone, and bewildered etc... and you don't say hello? Why? How can you expct anyone top care about how YOu feel ....if you don't care about how THEY feel?

I agree. I wish that someone would reply besides a hello but some comforting words to let me know that I am not alone and I am not the only one with the problems that I have and that there are others out there who understand and go through what I do.

I am new to the forum but reading most of the posts is like reading a day in the life of me! Hello to everyone who suffers from anxiety disorders; you are NOT alone, I for one completely understand. Trouble is, no one can make it go away, but at least we can help eachother to cope. Chin up everybody! : ;)

Hello, can totally empathize with your choice of the sad face icon.  Nothing worse than feeling alone.  I made up this lame joke,"How many depressed people does it take to change a light bulb?   Zero, because they like the dark better."  It's a real catch-22 to have something wrong with you that saps your motivation, when motivation is what you need to find help and get better.  You are not alone.

It is a shame, but in a way it is to be expected, those with anxiety disporders, especially Social Phobia, have a very hard time becoming involved, so to speak. I feel that patience is required. It is a matter of waiting until, those concerned, become a little more confident in their ability to interact in this social environment.

My time is very limited at the moment, but I will do my best to try to drop in more often.
