afraid i am addicted to valium and pregnant

i have been taking valium for about ten days now i am usually at thirty mgs,  i used to be a heroin , zanax and alcoholic, and am on suboxone, i just found out i was pregnant, so my nerves are shot, i dont know if i am keeping baby, but i want to stop the valium but afraid that i will with draw . i have been living with anxiety and depression for yrs talking like twenty and anti depressants make me worst, but if i keep the baby i dont want to hurt it, also i am getting them of street so i am afraid to tell my doctor and i am on probation.   i just was hoping someone would know if this is a high amount of valium, i dont feel it like i did zanax or klonopin, but they do take edge of ,  am i addicted please help.  i have a script of buspar will this help with withdrawal   thankyou ashla

Do not, DO NOT do any more drugs... and I beg of you not to terminate your pregnancy...   see the little feet I have as my profile picture?  Those are feet from my son who was born at 22 weeks. You're not just pregnant... you've made a life.  Even if you give your child up for adoption, please use this chance to do the RIGHT THING.  Come clean with your doctor and they can help you through this.  I know it's scary, and very, very difficult, but it's the best thing for you to do for YOU and your child.

You could be making a GIANT blessing to someone else right now...  My husband and I are getting on a list to adopt a child next year if I'm still unable to get pregnant.  It's a LONG list and a LONG wait... you could give birth to the most profound gift for someone else. 

I can't give you the right words, and I don't know where you are in your life.  I truly believe things happen for a purpose.  Let this child be your purpose.  You can fear the withdrawal, or you can fear dying at an early age because of drug addiction... never knowing TRUE happiness and fulfillment.  Please, do the right thing.  Respect your body -- come clean with your doctor and they can help you.

Usually you would not become addicted that soon but I agre with Noahs Mommy I believe you should check yourself into a clinic to help you come off of them safely make sure you tell them you are expecting thhis is your safest option hope it helps!

If you are only taking the Valium right now at 30 mgs for 10 days then you should not be addicted.  30 mg of Valium is a relatively small dose, but you may have to deal with your nerves and anxiety more without it.  With your addictive personality, I think it would be wise to get off the meds entirely, but if it is your only recourse to anxiety then be very careful.  If you are getting any buzz from it at all then you are not helping your anxiety and you are probably taking too much.  I think a good talk with a doctor would be smart.  

I am not one to hand out advice on the subject of parenthood, so that decision is yours.  I would advise that if you do decide to keep the baby, then you had better be committed to staying away from the drugs and also to the child's health.  There is a lot of work involved in having a child.  It is not as simple as waiting 9 months.  You have to watch what you eat or ingest in general and it definitely helps to have support from the father, family or friends.  

Go to the doctor and stop taking drugs off the street!  That is unbelievably irresponsible!  You have no idea what you are getting.  Go to a proper doctor and get advice and if need be a prescription.  If you are on probation for drugs then you may want to consider inpatient treatment.

Great news!  try and keep yourself straight.  It is a long hard road, but you can get through it and you'll only be better as a result!
