Palpitations while awake

Does any one here get palpitations while awake? I'm experiencing my heart jumping, not painful, but like a spasm for just a second, then back to normal.

My heart does that sometimes while I am awake.  I will be doing laundry or something and it will thump really hard for a beat or two.  Just anxiety I guess.  Try not to worry too much.  Have you had a full cardiac workup?  I know it is scary..I hate those feelings but I try to ignore them.

Yeah I do.. sometimes it just randomly feels like my heart beated so hard it almost jumped out of my chest! lol

Yeah, at the end of August I had EKG, Xray, blood test. All ok. Tomorrow I get the 24hr Holter monitor. It will probably be fine. It's funny you say laundry, I had that doing laundry on Sunday. Once I have a consult with the doctor on the Holter, it will likely put my mind off of it.

Yep the palpitations, thats a symptom I had for 3 or 4 years that my anxiety made it seem like it was constantly there. I had all the tests done too, came back fine. But you don't need them especially if you have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, itll save you a few thousand. I know how they feel and how much anxiety they bring but truth is those things dont hurt you at all. Your heart is not being damaged in anyway remember that too. Look it up if you dont believe me.

yes I have them too...sometimes for days and sometimes not...I actually kind of frek out now when they stop...
