i just started larazepam  i dont like to take meds cuz they freak me out but i tried it if any one else tried it please reply to let me know how it worked for you i tried zoloft once but it made me feel real mean i had to leave the house so i would be alone so now i dont take any thing that messes with your brain but i needed help so i tried larazepam please respond  cuz right now my life bites but im single dad of two so i had to try something any help would be great.

Hi Mark, I have never heard of the first med you mentioned. But, I have taken zoloft in 95' and found it useless. I think paxil worked best for myself. But, each of us are not the same. So, give them a try. Good Luck!  :)

Hi Mark.. I take the "Pam" too.. It works for me, but stick to small doses.. or you might become addicted.. it basically just makes me feel "normal".. relaxed and less sensitive to the panic.. I also take paxcil.. the combo really helps.. but the paxcil made me gain 30lbs :( Have you read any books yet? I know of a few that helped me a lot.. Right now I am reading "Mastery of Your Anxiety and Panic" Third Addition by David Barlow & Michelle G Craske.. It's a client workbook.. this book has helped the most! You may be able to find it on ebay for pretty cheap.. I, just like you, have pretty horrible agoraphobia.. I can't be alone at home or drive far. The workbook helps so much.. please consider it?
